Food Writing

    My great grandmother’s famous cream and wheat was the best meal I have ever tasted. Her daughter my grandmother loves it, my mom loves it. But the worst part of it is that my mom said “your great grandmother used to make even better than you could have imagined”. I can remember visiting my great grandmother and she would always have a hot steaming welcoming bowl of cream and wheat. The taste of it is like no of actually melting in your mouth, and warming you up like a heater on a cold day. The last time I had it was a sentry ago it makes me hungry just thinking about it. My grandmother could make it almost as great, but when she did it was always a small pot of cream and wheat. The only person in my family that does not like cream and wheat is my grandfather he preferred more sold foods. But something I have been really meaning to ask my grandmother is how to make cream and wheat the way my great grandmother did.
